This is a very cool vintage Eico Model 540 Redi-Tester.  I believe it is a leakage tester for ohm, volt and amp. The really cool thing about this is the handmade box, it is rather interesting. There is no power cord, and it is untested. In 1949, with the introduction of the Television, Triplett developed the Model 630.  It became the "2nd" all time seller.  It had the exclusive "bar ring" shielded Movement.  It was developed with "one" switch so that the operator had one hand "free". Rare to find in this excellent condition, functional with custom, top grain cowhide handled case with back door for leads and chords.
