All original, 1985 Gibson Custom Shop Scorpions Flying V Guitar.
This phenomenal axe came to us from the original owner and is in EXCELLENT condition. Definitely the best V I've ever played! Tone to the bone, clean or dirty, and as resonant as it gets. Action is low and fast, of course. NO cracks, breaks, repairs of any kind. This is an ULTRA-RARE guitar! Might be a Brazilian board, looks like it to me. Comes with original case, which is in good condition, with some wear and the lock latch is broken, although the case is very secure with all the other latches working correctly.
When we say this item is rare, we mean it! We have not been able to determine how many of these were custom ordered, though they were only done in 1985. We have only come across one other before and that was on the internet some time ago, the guitar had been severely altered, there is no listing in the price book for this guitar, however Gibson Custom Shop has confirmed it's authenticity.
